I absolutely LOVED this book!! Infidelity is a horrible thing to experience on any level. I usually avoid reading about it in stories, simply because most of the time it's done with evil intent. This is NOT the case in this story. This whole story has so much more in it. Healing, second chances, growth are just a few things you'll find in it. This is definitely worth a re-read plus I want to see more good things for them. Sasha Marshall handles the infidelity in such a way that you feel the growth & healing as well. I hated the situation, but never hated the characters (except Priscilla, naturally😉). That takes real skill as an author to do. Most seek to create hate & monsters. Sasha just showed us all a possibly true reality for some & how healing takes time, but can happen. She created characters that you want to be friends with & help them through this without taking sides. Again, not something easily done. Great job, Sasha!!! This story is worth way more than 5 stars!! ❣️💯

If you love rockstar romance this is a book you'll absolutely want to read, just make sure you've already bought the next book in the series. You'll need it! And Kleenex too, don't forget those!!! Another favorite author!!!

Mistletoe Creek, Tennessee is the fictional setting of a multi-author romance series with a modern fairy tale feel. Sasha Marshall's novella, Mistletoe Wishes, with it's quirky cast of characters, fits right into this small town vibe. The story begins with possibly the craziest, most memorable 'meet cute' of any book I've read in years. Kashton 'Kash' Saint appears to be no saint at all, taking his 'after hours' activities a little too far as his new personal assistant, Stella Black, quickly discovers. She experienced more of this gorgeous man than she could have ever bargained for from the first moment they laid eyes on each other. Stella's plan is to fade into the background while hoping the past she's running from doesn't catch up with her and Mistletoe Creek seemed like the perfect place to do just that. Her new job as a paralegal assisting Kash in his law practice will be a big challenge....that man has proven himself to be quite a handful. A hot, distracting one, but Stella can handle whatever he dishes out. Kash and Stella are two broken, lonely souls who, despite first impressions, are quickly drawn into each others lives. It's easy to feel their attraction brewing, hoping they'll give into those feelings and allow something warm and wonderful to happen between them. Will they take a chance on love? I had my fingers crossed for that wish to come true. This story has a perfect blend of hot, sexy sweet and magical, with enough Christmas spirit to warm even the coldest of hearts. Sasha Marshall's addition to the Mistletoe Creek series may be a quick read, but she sure packed an amazing amount of emotion, passion and amusement into this little tale. I cracked up so many times, enjoying the witty banter between Kash, Stella and everyone else that pops up in this nosy little town. This author's signature sense of humor shines brightly in this flirty workplace romance with a few extra twists to keep you on your toes. Kash and Stella might suggest indulging in a delicious cup of hot chocolate as you curl up in your favorite reading spot while reading how their love story began. Mistletoe Wishes is the kind of book that'll pull at your hearstrings, leaving you with a smile and a warm feeling long after the last page is turned.
